SYMTP's mini Holiday Light Parade

Join us Saturday, December 12th for a livestreamed mini-light parade of YOUR creations! Here's the breakdown:

SYMTP would like to invite anyone and everyone in the community to participate in building miniature floats for our mini-parade! These creations will then be "driven" down a miniature part of Downtown Globe and streamed on SYMTP's Facebook page and YouTube, complete with live-commentary. There is nothing to watch in-person; it is ONLY being livestreamed.

SYMTP's Mini Holiday Light Parade will have several judges examining the parade, with prizes that will be awarded in the days following the parade! There is no set theme; we would love to see whatever creation you can come up with. There is also no cost to enter! It's highly encouraged that families and siblings work together to create their mini-floats, but everyone is of course welcome to watch the stream without submitting a creation!

The floats base should about the size of a standard tissue box (8.75 x 4.75 x 3.75in). They are allowed to be smaller than a tissue box.
They can be made out of any materials.
Include wheels if you can.
If possible, decorate with any kind of lights you can think of! (UV paint, battery powered, sequins/glitter, glow sticks, etc)
All themes are welcome, but if you need a starting point try "Classic Christmas"
If you would like us to decorate your float with lights, please include a note saying so.

Submissions can be dropped off at Vida e Caffé until December 7th. If you would like to have your float returned to you, it must include a name and phone number. The livestream will take place on our YouTube channel or our Facebook event.

Be sure to follow us for any new information that comes up! Feel free to message if you have any questions. Don't forget to challenge your friends and family to a friendly build-off!
